Sound Drawings

Rather than map chance or random marks here i am creating my own marks  in response to sound. This was inspired by my research into Janet Cardiff who suggests an immediate and physical  experience of sound. Roland Barthes describes listening as an act that can root us in time and place. I will be continuing my research looking at artists such as john cage and liz miller who look for ways to visualise sound in a way that is performative or bound  to a physical bodily action, such as mark making.
